DakotaScapes was founded in February of 2005 by Jon Sundvold, but don’t let the length of the operation fool you.  Although DakotaScapes is a relatively young company, its owner has over 15 years of golf course management experience and a Bachelor of Science degree in horticulture from Iowa State University.  While in the golf course business, Jon was the golf course superintendent for The Beverly Country Club in Chicago.  During his time at Beverly, Jon was instrumental in numerous improvements that led to the course being recognized in Golfweek Magazine as the 87th ranked classic course in the U.S.  Prior to his arrival, the course was unranked.
